Smart Builder Progress

Week 13

Hello everyone😀Today I would like to talk about my group project progress. As stated in my blog before, my friends and I were working on a group project to create an E-learning course-ware using Smart Builder.

For this week, Madam Azida has taught us on how to add some effect and also song into our Smart Builder. She also taught us on how to use hotspot tool in the Smart Builder. It was interesting to learn on how to make our E-learning course-ware to be more fun and not boring.

I can say that our project was about 80% finished. We just need to add some activities and test and it will be done. I am sure that the project will be great and fun. I cannot wait to see our project when it is done. That is all for this time. See you again😊

Smart Builder

Week 12

Hello everyone😊 Today's blog is about Smart Builder. SmartBuilder is the fastest elearning authoring tool for creating serious elearning including scenarios, gamification, branching, assessments and more.

This is some tools in the Smart Builder:

Madam Azida taught everyone in class on how to use the Smart Builder for our last assignment. It was fun to learn this new thing. It really make our task easier. We can create a learning activity and teach other people by using Smart Builder. For our last assignment, as in a group of four people, we need to create a learning tools to teach a topic that we want. So, we have chose to teach Adverb for intermediate learner from age of 18-23.

I hope that my group can do a amazing job for this assignment. We want to help other people in learning English. 💕

Gagne 9 Event

Week 11

Hello everyone😊 I am back!

So today i would like to share about Gagne 9 Events that me and my group members have presented in class.  This design was created by Robert Gagne. Robert Gagné proposed a series of events which follow a systematic instructional design process that share the behaviorist approach to learning, with a focus on the outcomes or behaviors of instruction or training.

This is the nine events in Gagne 9 Events.

  • Gain attention of the students: Ensure the learners are ready to learn and participate in activities by presenting a stimulus to gain their attention.
  • Inform students of the objectives: Inform students of the objectives or outcomes to help them understand what they are to learn during the course. Provide objectives before instruction begins.
  • Stimulate recall of prior learning: Help students make sense of new information by relating it to something they already know or something they have already experienced.
  • Present the content: Use strategies to present and cue lesson content to provide more effective, efficient instruction. Organize and chunk content in a meaningful way. Provide explanations after demonstrations.
  • Provide learning guidance: Advise students of strategies to aid them in learning content and of resources available.
  • Elicit performance (practice): Activate student processing to help them internalize new skills and knowledge and to confirm correct understanding of these concepts.
  • Provide feedback: Provide immediate feedback of students’ performance to assess and facilitate learning.
  • Assess performance: In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the instructional events, you must test to see if the expected learning outcomes have been achieved. Performance should be based on previously stated objectives.
  • Enhance retention and transfer to the job: To help learners develop expertise, they must internalize new knowledge.
That is all for now. I hope you can gain some useful information from this blog💗

Instructional Design

Week 10

Hello everyone😗 Today I will talk about Instructional Design. Instructional Design is "a systematic process that is employed to develop education and training programs in a consistent and reliable fashion". Instructional design (ID), also known as instructional systems design (ISD), is the practice of systematically designing, developing and delivering instructional products and experiences, both digital and physical, in a consistent and reliable fashion towards an efficient, effective, appealing, engaging and inspiring acquisition of knowledge. It is also a framework for developing modules or lessons that will be use for education.

Before creating an apps or mobile apps, we need to know which theory that we want to use and follow for the things that we want to teach or share.

The ADDIE model is the generic process traditionally used by instructional designers and training developers. The five phases—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—represent a dynamic, flexible guideline for building effective training and performance support tools. While perhaps the most common design model, there are a number of weaknesses to the ADDIE model which have led to a number of spin-offs or variations.

That is all for this week lesson💕
